The gum wall (GW)
has a coating of rubber for strength and protection.

Advantage:

Helps resists pinches and sidewall abrasion/damage.

The skin wall (SW)
is transparent and shows the texture and thread of the casing

Advantage:

Lightweight, flexibility,
suppleness
